People’s Choice Award[/googlefont][/box]
The Board of Directors of AIA Florida is excited to continue the newest addition to the Florida/Caribbean Honor and Design Awards. This year will mark the second annual People’s Choice Award. To compile the buildings that will make up the 2015 “ballot,” AIA Florida is asking that each component submit two buildings. The building must be accessible by the public, currently existing in Florida, and completed within the previous five years. The building does not have to be designed by a Florida architect, simply must be located within the geographical region represented by the component. The submitting component must ensure that buildings submitted were not submitted in 2014, or are currently already on the 2015 ballot. To see buildings that are already included for voting this year, visit http://tinyurl.com/msvn9jz.
Last year’s 2014 submissions for the AIA Space Coast Chapter were:
- Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral
- Space Shuttle Atlantis at the Kennedy Space Center
