The Board of Directors of AIA Florida is excited to continue the newest addition to the Florida/Caribbean Honor and Design Awards. This year will mark the third annual People’s Choice Award. To compile the buildings that will make up the 2016 “ballot,” AIA Florida is asking that each component submit two buildings. The building must be accessible by the public, currently existing in Florida, and completed within the previous five years. The building does not have to be designed by a Florida architect, simply must be located within the geographical region represented by the component. The submitting component must ensure that buildings submitted were not submitted in 2014 or 2015.
