ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND COMPOSITION[/googlefont]
[googlefont font=”PT Serif” size=”14px” weight=”400″ align=”” color=”#ffffff” margin=”10px 0 10px 0″]The Seaside Institute is pleased to introduce a new series of architectural photography workshops by internationally renowned architectural photographer Steven Brooke.[/googlefont]
[googlefont font=”PT Serif” size=”18px” weight=”700″ align=”center” color=”#ffffff” margin=”10px 0 10px 0″]The workshop will be held May 30-June 3, 2015.[/googlefont]
[googlefont font=”PT Serif” size=”14px” weight=”400″ align=”” color=”#ffffff” margin=”10px 0 10px 0″]The dynamic 5-day workshop combines the history of architectural depiction and composition with an accessible approach to the technical demands of photographing architecture, landscape, and interiors. The workshop is suitable for students of all ability levels and backgrounds –from professional architects and real estate professionals, to travelers for whom architecture and design is a passion. The workshop covers the photography of individual buildings, streetscapes, landscapes, interiors, and night photography, and includes instruction in photographic techniques, composition and post-production.

Steven Brooke has been photographing architecture and design for over 35 years. He has photographed 40 books on architecture and design, including nine that he has written. He has been Seaside’s Photographer of Record since its inception. His numerous awards and honors include the AIA National Honor Award, the highest honor award in the field, and the Rome Prize awarded by the American Academy in Rome. Steven is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture. His work may be seen at www.stevenbrooke.com.
