Several 2015 AIA Convention participants have been approached with lodging offers by vendors not affiliated with AIA. Reserving with such “poachers” is risky. Though lower rates are advertised, rooms may not actually be available and cancellations are usually non-refundable. Many poachers go out of business shortly after taking reservations, leaving buyers stranded.
We recommend booking directly through Travel Planners, the official housing company for Convention, to ensure competitive rates, protection from overbooking and AIA customer support. Contact AIA with any questions at conventionhousing@aia.org.
